Marty Naul-Drum Instructor

Marty Naul attended Sam Houston State University from 1971 to 1973, where he majored in Music Education and the University of Houston from 1973 to 1975, where he majored in Music. Even though he was a member of the rock band Oz Knozz at the time, Marty spent his first year out of college as a high school band director, using his knowledge and experience with symphonic and marching bands that he had acquired as a student.

After a year of teaching, Marty got a lot more serious about his rock drumming, touring with Oz Knozz, who regularly shared the stage with the likes of Cheap Trick, Supertramp, Peter Frampton, Judas Priest, Kansas, and many other national and international acts. Over the years his band Oz Knozz recorded and released several albums and singles, including the 2012 multiple GRAMMY nominated CD, “True Believer”, as well as playing on as many as eleven albums by not only Oz Knozz, but other artists such as Chameleon, Midnight Circus, the Praise/Worship artist, John Sellers, and most recently his latest project, the Symphonic Metal band, Worhol.

Marty continues to play live and record with various artists from all over the country, and teach drums and percussion at The Warehouse School of Music since January of 2017.
